Winemaker Notes

The Single Deck Cabernet Sauvignon derives from a single block in the mountain vineyard of Alden-Ellis in Alexander Valley. The Cab grown up there is big and complex. Aromas of black currant, blueberry preserve, violets, and toast lead to a palate full of flavors of blackberries, wet slate, and cocoa. The tannins are rich, soft, and abundant. This wine will age for years to come.

Food Pairing

Like most of our Cabs this one screams out for beef! A well-marbled charbroiled Ribeye will do the trick. Keep it simple.
