Pasta with Chicken


1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
olive oil
2 cups sliced mushrooms
3 8-ounce cans tomato sauce
1 14-ounce can quartered artichoke hearts (nonmarinated)
6 slices of prosciutto, finely sliced
1/2 cup half & half
4 skinless, boneless grilled chicken breasts
bow tie pasta
Parmesan cheese


Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add herbs and mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms are lightly browned. Add tomato sauce, prosciutto and artichokes and simmer about 20 minutes. Just before serving, add half & half. Top sauced pasta with grilled chicken breasts and Parmesan.
